Words of Love and Encouragement

Here are some beautiful words of love and encouragement shared by Dana.

When first thinking about giving a testimony, I shied away because I couldn't think of a specific incident or a "miracle" that happened.

So I pondered and at 5:30am it hit me. My life is my testimony. I am the only survivor of a mother who had trouble carrying babies.

I was one of those "nice" people who others feel they can take advantage of. But I always carried in my mind tha God said, "The meek shall inherit the earth."

I grew up in the city streets the product of two hard working parents and some idle time on my hands. Now as an adult I think back to how many dangerous situations I was in and didn't even know it.

I knew how to change my walk and talk to be able to make it safe from here to there and would marvel at how street saavy I was when I got home safe...taking God's credit. See, it was never me. It was either God who gave me the know how and/or his protection surrounding me.

God has never gone back on his promises or left a prayer unanswered. I feel that all the things I went through were on a path that led straight to him.

I now use my talents in performing arts ministries at my church.

My hope is that people have an experience that brings them closer to God. I thank God for my life and never lose sight of how blessed I am. I know that I am a daughter of the King and now want to help others to know it to.
