Healing in the Bible

When people begin to discuss healing in the Bible, often times many questions come up. Because of all the sickness and death happening in the world, many people question, "Does God still heal?" "Does God still perform miracles?" Well the answer to both of these questions is, yes He still does.

Jeremiah 30:17a reads, "For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord;..."

To receive your healing, you must first go to the Lord in prayer and talk to the Him about what you may be dealing with. Yes, He may already know, because He is all-knowing, but He wants to have a conversation with you and listen to what's on your mind.

Next, you must believe God that He has heard you and that you are now healed. This is the time in which you stretch your faith muscles. Faith is the key to unlocking your miracle.

Finally the Bible tells us to act as one who has been healed and begin to tell your testimony to all who will listen.
