Daily Prayers

Prayer of Thanksgiving:

Dear Lord, as your Word says, I will enter into your gates with thanksgiving and into your courts with praise. For this is the day you have made and I will rejoice and be glad. I thank you for all the many blessings both seen and unseen in which you have given me. I thank you for my health, my wealth and an increase in wisdom. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins and I will forever bless your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Success: Lord, I know that I am a success. For you have given me gifts in which I serve and honor you. I know I have the mind of Christ and I can never fail nor be defeated. As I seek your kingdom daily I will stay humble and live in the gifts you have given me. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Thankfulness for the Holy Spirit:

Lord as I stay in your presence I continuously feel your peace, love and joy. I thank your for the gift of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, help and comfort me. Thank you Holy Spirit for you enable me to walk in the ways of the Lord as you abide with me forever. Holy Spirit work through me and remind me daily of why it is that I am here on Earth and help me to fulfill my God-ordained purpose. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for your wife:

Dear Lord, I thank you for my wife. I pray that as she continues to grow in you daily that she would be used as a vessel for your glory. Help her to hide your Word in her heart so that she doesn’t sin against you. Help her to meditate on your word and not only be a hearer but also a doer. I pray that you will do good to her according to your word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for your husband:

Lord, first of all I thank you for the husband you have given me. I pray that he will gain knowledge and have good judgment through your Word. I pray that you will give him an understanding and discernment of your word. Lord, help him to be the best husband and father he can be. He is a success, he is wise, he is loving and he is a great provider. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Christian friendships:

Dear Lord, I thank you for your word teaches us that if we desire friends we must first show ourselves friendly. Lord I ask you to please bring into my life godly friends with whom I can share my joys and struggles. Lord as you bring these people into my life, I pray that you show me how to be a good friend in return. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for your children:

Lord, I know children are a gift from you. I ask you to watch over them everyday. Protect them and help them to grow up to know and love you. Teach me how to teach your word to them, as well as, be a Christ-like example for them to model their life after. As I teach them your word, I pray as they grow older your word still reside in their hearts and they will not be easily distracted by the traps from the devil, but rather help them to be able to speak your word over any situation they face; For they are more than conquerors. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
