This is my Christian business story; a story which was written by God years ago but now has been published to the public.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

My Faith At Work

For years I’ve wanted to start my own christian home base business. Being an entrepreneur to me meant – freedom.

Freedom to choose what time I woke up, how I spent my days and most importantly the ability to do something I was passionate about.

My passion is doing the work of the Lord and enlightening people concerning all the many promises of God.

In 2000 I received my bachelors’ of science degree in dental hygiene and was blessed to be able to work as a pediatric hygienist for eight years.

But over time commuting one hour and a half both ways and juggling being a mother became very stressful.

As a new mother I didn’t want to miss any of my children’s special moments in life. But I had to work in order to provide for them.

Eventually, God changed my thoughts and helped me to realize He is the ultimate provider. It’s not a job that sustains me.

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barn; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:26

During the week my children attended child care and over time they picked up a lot of germs. So often I had to miss work.

And the more children you have, the more germs they pass amongst themselves and to you – the parent.

Unfortunately for me, my boss wasn’t too pleased with all of my missed days. Nor was I because the more I missed the less my paycheck was. But I had to take care of my babies.

How I longed to stay at home with them.

Throughout the years, I never stopped praying concerning a change in my working lifestyle. Yes, I wanted to make a descent pay to help provide for my children, but I also wanted to do more for God.

I wanted to start a christian business. A Christian online business that would glorify God.

I was confused and I felt trapped.

Then in 2009 my husband decided to move us down south where he worked part-time jobs in his field as a computer system engineer.

But these part-time jobs weren’t permanent and we really needed a steady income.

I began to pray and seek God.

Then one night as I was browsing the internet, I came across a woman’s website. I began clicking through its pages and reading the contents.

One page was titled My Story.

The page described in detail how she began and designed her own website. Now she was fulfilling her dreams and her purpose.

I continued to scroll down the page where she mentioned the company in which helped her fulfilled her dreams.

And so I clicked on the link and thus began my thirst for more knowledge and information concerning this company.

The more I read, the more excited I became.

I was so excited to begin my Christian online business.

Little did I know by clicking on that link that God had already predestined that night to happen.

Little did I know that He was going to use such a company to help me fulfill my purpose and be a blessing to so many others.

I was for sure God had placed on my heart to start my Christian business.

Of course I was a little skeptical because I’ve tried so many other ventures in the past that failure attempted to loom in my mind.

But God.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23

God will work out everything if only if we would trust Him and believe.

When I started on my online christian business journey with SBI I didn’t know how to design a website nor did I know anything about generating traffic to my site once it went live on the web.

But SBI teaches everyone how to do everything.

The amount of information and knowledge that is given is unbelievable. They basically hold your hand through the entire process.

SBI makes new users feel comfortable and at ease while learning to set up their website.

They even have built in tools that help users get recognition from search engines like Google, Yahoo and Ask.com.

With this help, I am able to focus on what’ important – getting the message of Jesus Christ out to the world.

I want this website; my Christian business website to be used as a channel to bless others and help them find out who they are in Christ as believers.
